The Malaya & British Borneo $10 was printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd on 21st March 1953. THE FRONT features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the tiger head watermark Incorporated as a safeguard against forgery. This note was signed by W.C. Taylor. THE BACK features the emblems of the then 15 states i.e. Pahang, Perak, Malacca, Brunei, Kedah, Sarawak, Kelantan, Sinagapore, Perlis, Perlis, Sabah, Johore, Terengganu, Penang,Selangor, Negeri Sembilan (left to right). The emblem of the Malaya Federation was shown at the bottom.

The Malaya & British Borneo $10 note was issued in 1st March 1961, they were not released to public until 28th August 1961. THE FRONT features farmer and the buffalo ploughing a padi field with a Malayan tiger’s head watermark on the left and the signature of Tun Tan Siew Sin. THE BACK features the emblems of the then five states i.e. Brunei, Sawarak, Federation of Malaya, Singapore and Sabah.
